  Colin has received a diploma in Adventure Tourism from the University College of the Cariboo. His favorite outdoor pasttimes include back-country skiing, white-water kayaking, ocean kayaking, rock climbing, mountaineering, one day and multi-day hikes, and mountain biking.

  Quote from Colin: "The excitement and challenge of taking part in a large variety of sports at a young age has shaped my character and created a love for recreation on many levels. In no other place do I feel such peace with the world than when I am outdoors. Recreation to me is a lifestyle, a passion that makes me feel completely alive. From the ocean to the high mountains, in kayaks or on bikes, by foot or on skis, this is my classroom, my teacher and my life."

  Colin has been through many high-risk situations, hazard assessments and evaluations. He has also been exposed to a variety of helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft. He has also been assessed on his critical decision-making choices. Colin loves the great outdoors and has excelled in every challenge nature has to offer.
